GRANDMASTER TECHNICIAN

MacCarthy GM would like to give a very big congratulations to Leon Schulte who has earned GM Grandmaster Status for 2020.

So what does it take to become a GM Grandmaster Technician?

On top of earning certification through constant experience beneath the hood and under vehicles, and achieving regular positive customer satisfaction feedback, he also had to complete 12 certifications - each certification consists of up to 5 courses, each with training webinars and testing to achieve this status.  It also means he’s in the top 28% of technicians in Canada! Way to go Leon.

When asked Leon said “it’s very satisfying to achieve this status, it takes a lot of work behind the scenes on top of regular duties on a day-to-day basis”.  Leon is our go-to guy for expert knowledge on uncommon or hard to fix issues. Of course, like any good Grandmaster, Leon is always shooting for the stars.  His goal next year is to reach the top 10% and become Gold Grandmaster.  You got this Leon.

In the nearly 36 years Leon has been with MacCarthy GM, he’s consistently shown leadership, dexterity, strong customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, and solve those tough issues.  When you see Leon, make sure you come by, shake his hand and congratulate him for a job well done.  He certainly worked hard for it.
