For the entire month of February, MacCarthy Motors decided to support the Pink Shirt Day movement.
The movement helps support programs that encourage healthy self esteem and teach empathy, compassion and kindness. Your help shall support these amazing local anti-bullying programs.

Pedaling their Way to End Childhood Cancer! ✊✊ Every year the “Cops for Cancer” Tour De North Team cycles across the coast of BC (from Prince George to Prince Rupert) raising money for childhood cancer research and support services at the Canadian Cancer Society. MacCarthy Motors is proud to support these heroes as they pedal their way to end childhood cancer! They made a stopover in Terrace this morning and the MacCarthy employees got a chance to meet these heroes and thank them for their commitment to the childhood cancer cause.

We are super thrilled to SHARE OUR CHRISTMAS with our little furry friends at Northern Animal Rescue Alliance (NARA). We hope our support goes a long way in spreading cheer to the abused, neglected, and abandoned animals in the community of Terrace and the surrounding area. Keep up the good work. Proud to support!

MacCarthy GM is super proud of its MacCarthy Motors Kermodes! They won the Bantam Rep Vernon Tier 3 Tournament with 5 wins, 0 losses. The gold medal game saw them facing off against the Sunshine Coast, taking home the gold after a 7-4 win. Every year, MacCarthy Motors sponsors the Bantam rep team which allows them to hit the ice in tournaments all over the province.

Katy and Taya stopped by MacCarthy GM today to pick up a cheque of $250 from Ryan, Boyd and Peter for the Veritas Parent Support Group Fundraiser dinner.

Kylie from Ksan Society stopped by the dealership today to pick up a $500.00 sponsorship cheque for Coldest Night of the Year, a joint venture between Ksan and Bluesea Foundation to help eradicate homelessness and hunger in our community.

Jane and Kelly came by the dealership to pick up a $300 sponsorship cheque from Boyd for this year's Pacific Northwest Music Festival.This amazing event provides an opportunity for music and performing arts students to share their talents and skills with the community through performance and friendly competition, and encourages them to continue to strive for excellence through learning from their peers and adjudicators. MacCarthy GM is fully on board!

Shannon from the Terrace Dare to Dream Foundation came in to collect a $300 donation cheque to support local youth and the arts! MacCarthy GM is proud to support the foundation who is hosting clinics in the Terrace area. 230-260 students benefited from these music clinics in our area and will help to keep the arts active and healthy in our community.

After 3 long hockey seasons, we have a winner for MacCarthy GM's Chuck-A-Duck in Prince Rupert. Our lucky winner Jack Krump was the winner of $250.00. Congratulations Jack and Go Rampage!

MacCarthy GM was a proud event sponsor for the 2nd Annual Coldest Night of the Year to support Ksan Society and the Bluesea foundation and help eradicate homelessness in our community. HR Manager Jeanna Giles braved the cold, put in the kilometers, and represented MacCarthy GM during the walk that took place this past Saturday. Congrats Ksan and Bluesea on another successful walk and congrats to all the participants.

The Terrace Drag Race Association stopped by the dealership yesterday to pick up a sponsorship check for the 2020 drag race season! MacCarthy GM is the main sponsor for the upcoming Hot August Nights race days. We are excited!!!!

MacCarthy has been a huge supporter of the Lions Club's Memorial Blue Knuckle Derby for many years. This year General Manager Randy Beatson donated two big prizes: a Craftsman Power Tool Kit and a set of Apple Wifi Earbuds. The Earbuds will be awarded to the biggest salmon in the "Youth" category, a new feature added this year.
